Now Offering *Mobile* Scooter Tire Replacement

I’ve been buying tools like a madman, which is one of the perks of this line of work.

I decided to focus on getting everything I need to replace the worn out tires on your scooter with fresh rubber.

One of the most difficult parts of tire replacement is seating the bead once the new tire is on the rim.

It takes quite a bit of air to be sure that I can get the bead seated on a new tire every single time.

Some people like to use cheap, $30 12V compressors for a job like this. I’ve found those cheap compressors only work about 60% of the time. When it doesn’t work, I have to schlep your tires to the nearest tire shop and con the folks there into getting the bead seated for me. They usually do it for free, but it’s still a lot of time and running about that I can avoid… if I have the right tools.

That’s why I stepped my game up and installed what’s called an onboard air setup in the MOTO2N service van.

This is the compressor, hiding behind the driver’s seat:

And here’s the 2 gallon tank, hiding underneath the van:

And here are a couple of tires I replaced recently for a customer:

The tires on the left, that are on the wheels, are brand spanking new. If your tires look more like the ones on the right, you’re probably going to need new tires.

Most scooter tires run about $30-$45 each, and I can replace them for you for $45 each, for either the front or the rear. You don’t have to take your wheels off by yourself, nor do you have to haul or ride your bike to a shop and pay them to do it. I come to you and do the work right before your very eyes!

To schedule an appointment, for tires or other work, just call (719) 565-9295.

I serve riders up and down the Front Range, from Pueblo to Ft. Collins, including Colorado Springs and Denver.
