Do You Have a Broken, or Non-Running Motorcycle or Scooter You Want to Ride Again?

I am MOBILE, which means I COME TO YOU. There is NO SHOP. PLEASE READ THE FAQ BEFORE YOU BOOK.

I DO NOT WORK ON HARLEYS AT ALL, NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ONLINE OR CALL ME IF YOU OWN A HARLEY DAVIDSON.

I DO NOT WORK ON ANYTHING POWERED BY ELECTRICITY. I DO NOT WORK INDOORS. YOUR BIKE NEEDS TO BE IN A GARAGE OR OUTSIDE FOR ME TO WORK ON IT.

PLEASE schedule ONLINE if you can!!! Please include some words about what your bike is doing when you book. I’ll do my best to call you and talk about what’s going on with your bike, but I may just hit “confirm” on the appointment request and then text/call you to confirm the day of the appointment.

If you’d rather call to schedule a SPRING 2024 appointment, dial (720) 634-6935 and hope I answer the phone. I do not always answer the phone, nor do I always return calls. This isn’t my first year doing this, it’s my EIGHTH (8 YEARS), and I stay busy. Booking online is the best way to get my attention.

DENVER IS KEEPING ME BUSY AT THE MOMENT (3-26-2024). If you are in the Springs or Pueblo, I may not be available. Feel free to BOOK ONLINE; if I’m not available I’ll let you know by declining the appointment or texting you with an alternate date and time.

If you’re on a mobile device, turn it sideways to keep reading 😛

Please leave a message if I don’t pick up!  Please include whatever information you may have about your bike’s problem in your message.

MOTO2N accepts CASH, check (name/address must match), most debit/credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle.

The $255 price quoted here includes:

  • Service call @ $55 for the Denver Metro Area. The service call in Colorado Springs is $65 (add $10 to these numbers if you’re in the Springs).
  • Shop supplies @ $4.5. Includes chemicals, fluids, zip ties, shop towels, wear and tear on tools, and odds-and-ends I use to fix your bike.
  • 1 hour of diag/labor time @$145. This is what it costs to clean a carburetor on a single cylinder scooter or motorcycle
  • 1x battery ($40), 1x spark plug ($10.50)

That’s roughly what it takes to get a Honda Ruckus, Metropolitan, or other single-cylinder bike THAT RAN WELL LAST YEAR running again. It reflects a BALLPARK PRICE to get a single-cylinder bike that ran well last year running again. ACTUAL PRICING OFTEN VARIES UP OR DOWN DEPENDING ON MANY FACTORS I CANNOT ANTICIPATE IN ADVANCE.

Additional parts and labor, as needed, cost additional money. I will not know how much it will cost to fix your bike until I start looking at it and offer you an estimate IN PERSON.

It’s rare, but some machines suffer from “simple problems” that take very little time to fix. In these instances, your bill will be significantly LESS than the rate quoted here.

If I fix your bike during the diagnostic session, 30 minutes or less, you will owe the minimum service charge, which is $132.

It’s not at all uncommon for the price to exceed $255.

Let’s say your bike needs a battery. Or a petcock. A CDI box. A spark plug. All parts are extra, and the labor can easily exceed 1 hour to remove and replace them.

The “ballpark figure” for scooter, motorcycle, and ATV repair is between $132 (my minimum) and $400+.

The final price very much depends on what exactly is wrong with your bike. If you decide *not* to go through with repairs, only the minimum service charge is due (service call + 30 mins (1/2 hour) labor + shop supplies; $132+ depending on your location)

I will not know how much work your bike needs until I start working on it.

Some bikes need more work than other bikes. Strange things happen to machines after they sit for a long time. Strange things happen to machines as they are used. Strange things happen to perfectly maintained machines, too.

*PARTS NOT INCLUDED*

If I need to order parts to repair your bike, I will collect all of the money for the parts and ~half of the labor at the conclusion of the appointment. I will then return to complete the work in 7-10 days. The balance is due at the conclusion of the second appointment.

Please note that I am not always available by phone. If I don’t pick up, please leave a message, and I’ll try to return your call as soon as possible. The best way to get my attention is to book online.
